What is the YES program?

Recently, you may have noticed how I joined the YES programme (Young Enterprise Scheme). It is the step forward for 3D Print Solutions, but what is it?

Young Enterprise is a program run each year where students get the opportunity to start and run their businesses. Some brands that have gone through YES include well-known names such as Fuijitzu and Sharsies, to name a few.

What do they do to support these success stories? They offer professional guidance, a lowered tax bracket, and a course to help with direction.

The first thing Young Enterprise helps with is reaching out to mentors in the chosen industry. This aids in giving a foot in for young entrepreneurs such as myself. With 3D Print Solutions, this will give invaluable advice and direction going forward. As well as this their ten lesson course covers everything from brand identity to marketing. This ensures we can learn a broad range of what being business owners is all about.

Another advantage to the program is the lowered tax bracket is another benefit of the program. Instead of all the various taxes, such as GST and general business taxes, I'm now taxed at a lower rate of 25%. This will help me break even and give a better price to my customers.

Overall, With all of the support in place, I believe that Young Enterprise will help 3D Print Solutions reach new heights in professionalism and improve the quality of the service I provide.

If you are interested in the program and would like to learn more, be sure to check the scheme out here.
