Why I love the BL Touch

Having had the BL Touch for my 3D printing machine has proven invaluable to my 3d printing Journey. Firstly, what is a BL Touch?

What is the BL Touch?

The BL Touch is an sensor that you can fit to many different 3D printers. This is so your printer can measure the heights of different points on the bed, and counter any bed warping. As well as this, it also allows there to be more prints in between manual bed leveling.

Why I love the BL Touch:

Normally, you have four screws on each of the four corners of the print bed. You would adjust them until they were a paper's thickness from the nozzle at each of the four corners. However, if the bed is warped concave the center would be curved inward and I could not adjust it. This would then lead to poor bed adhesion and failed prints. 

Where the BL Touch comes in is making the nozzle compensate for this warp by having it lower and heighten when it is nearing an uneven part of the bed. As well as this, It gives the bed more room for being uneven.

Conclusion: 

The BL Touch is an invaluable add on to my Ender 3 Pro. Without it, I would spend more time adjusting my 3D print bed than I would otherwise.
